The Power Of Obeying God's Word for Wives

Whatever God commands us to do we strive to do in obedience. For wives there are many commands and many helps from God to equip a wife to be obedient, faithful, and wise.

Philippians 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

Matthew 5:16 KJV

Wives:

The degree to which you submit to your husband is the degree to which you submit to the Lord.

Colossians 3:18

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

Ephesians 5:24

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

James 3:17 KJV

Why Are So Many Christians Double Minded?

The observation we see in the world is people that call themselves Christians are trapped in sin, confused about the gospel, and don't know what God's will for them is. The question is why are there so many double minded Christians who are unstable in all their ways? I believe the carnal mind is getting in the way. Many are taught that after you are born again you no longer have a carnal mind because, "God doesn't make schizophrenics!" This being preached by a double minded preacher doesn't carry much weight. It seems there are many frustrated Christians that have given up and when they do that they fall deeper in the ditch. But God's word is true and if we do what He says there is a way out. When we think of our lives we often don't see things from the perspective of the truth we find in the bible. When we do that our definitions can be wrong and our actions based upon our realities can dictate our action, inaction and reactions.
