Believers have access to the mind of Christ.  But believers also have access to the carnal mind.  But the carnal mind is enmity with God and cannot discern spiritual things ever.  That is what God's word says not my opinion.  Your carnal mind is not going with you after this life.  Believers are made new but living believers still have the carnal mind and must not exalt it anymore otherwise they will be double minded.  And a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. The carnal mind says, "Oh no the doctors just said I have ALS.  I hope and pray that the doctors can heal me even though they give no evidence that medicine can heal me."  But as a believer this person also has access to the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ that we as believers have access to agrees with the promises of God's word.  God's word promises healing.  Believers that study that out and exalt the mind of Christ over the carnal mind can see supernatural healing.
