Dangers of Making Up Definitions That Fit Your Doctrine

Recently I listened to a sermon about miracles and if they are for today or not.  As I've experienced life as a believer in Jesus Christ I've often listened to preachers or people that have been Christian for many years and study the bible and read a lot of books about the bible and I've made many observations. Making Stuff Up: Many times teachers and preachers teach what man has taught them learning from those that have a specific doctrine and one of their rules seem to be: Thou shalt not contradict your doctrine of man. For example. I was listening to a baptist preacher speaking on what miracles are and are not. Now remember the audience he is speaking to generally speaking doesn't believe in demons having any ability to influence a believer.  Much denial come out from this false belief. Believer You Are Righteous! White As Snow

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ you have peace with God having been reconciled with God and you have the Holy Spirit of God living in you to teach you and to comfort you and to lead you.  You are righteous in Jesus because of what He did on Calvary by the shedding of His blood.  You are forgiven of all your sin and have been translated from the Kingdom of Darkness into the Kingdom of Light. Believe it. 1 John 1:7   KJV But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
