Are You Struggling With Contention? God Can Help

Proverbs 21:19 KJV It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman. Proverbs 26:21 KJV As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife. Proverbs 27:15 KJV A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike. Contention is not the behavior we should have: 1 Corinthians 11:16 KJV But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. 1 Peter 3:1-13 KJV Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in ...

Are Demonic Thoughts Controlling You?

Traits of Controlling Parents

Go to 9 minutes 22 seconds and listen for a minute. 1. Remind you of things they do for you 2. Conditional love When you go against them they go silent on you. Children of narcisists are often people pleasers. Children have a sense that they need to earn love. Narcisists have no bounderies.  They see them as their property. 3. Jealousy Narc Mothers with daughters Narc mothers see everything they are not (youth and beauty) Work to compete with daughter and to hurt her self esteem. 4. Take credit for your accomplishments only in public but not in private. They will tell others but they will not tell you that they are proud. 5. Lack of Empathy No empathy and they cannot deal with you if you are in pain, but rather they enjoy your pain. 6. Infantalize their children Keep children dependent. How? Set them up to fail. Train them to be helpless. Basics are not taught. Pull rug out from under children when they are not falling in line with ...

Deny Self and Live

1 Peter 5:10 KJV But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. Romans 8:17 KJV And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Matthew 13:43 KJV Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Revelation 1:16 KJV And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 2 Corinthians 4:6 KJV For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same imag...

Believe a Lie and You Become a Bond Servant To That Lie

2 Peter 2:19 KJV While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

Believers Have the Holy Spirit and Have Been Given Power to Use the Authority Jesus Has Obtained

Jesus sits far above all principality and power and might and dominion and over every name that is named. Believers have been given the Holy Spirit and because of that we also have been charged with going out and telling the good news to others and we are equipped to do anything that Jesus has for us to do accessing the authority placed in us through Jesus. Ephesians 1:20-21 KJV Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: After Jesus rose from the dead he said the following: Matthew 28:18-19 KJV  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe a...

Why Are So Many Christians Double Minded?

The observation we see in the world is people that call themselves Christians are trapped in sin, confused about the gospel, and don't know what God's will for them is. The question is why are there so many double minded Christians who are unstable in all their ways? I believe the carnal mind is getting in the way.  Many are taught that after you are born again you no longer have a carnal mind because, "God doesn't make schizophrenics!" This being preached by a double minded preacher doesn't carry much weight. It seems there are many frustrated Christians that have given up and when they do that they fall deeper in the ditch. But God's word is true and if we do what He says there is a way out. Submitting to God's Righteousness Truths: -Yielding to lawlessness leads to more lawlessness. -Submitting to righteousness leads more righteousness which leads to holiness. -The carnal mind is enmity with God. Even though we will never be perfect...

The Ways of Man That Seem Right: Twisting Scripture to Fit Man's Doctrine

1 John 1:9 KJV  I see deception in the translation of 1 John 1:9 verse similarly to that of Hebrews 10:25 KJV. The meaning that people come up with is often viewed as godly and seems right.  But  assigning a godly meaning to a bible verse doesn't make that explanation true.  Example:  (Hebrews 10:25 our need to "go to church" and 1 John 1:9 some flavor of asking God for forgiveness and some would say our not needing to ask God for foregiveness) So these explanations become part of a doctrine which props up man's needs for the church building and that building's organization. Example:  (Hebrews 10:25 used to guilt people into coming to that specific church building every Sunday AND 1 John 1:9 telling people either they never need to confess sin OR that they have to specifically track each sin and confess each one). A double minded man is unstable in ALL his ways.  Why is truth so important?  Believing a lie causes a supernatural sp...

Email From Jim Richards Detailing Error With Hyper Grace Only Teachings and Teachers

NOTE: I cut and pasted this from a group email I received.  I did not ask permission, but I doubt brother Jim Richards will mind.  His thoughts below: I am constantly amazed by people who think they can live any way they choose and life is still supposed to be great because they are a Christian! Pop theology would say, “God loves you unconditionally so how you live doesn’t matter.” I guess it’s an issue of defining unconditional love. Based on a flawed, humanistic definition, they take a quantum leap into humanistic philosophy, redefining unconditional love as unconditional approval and unconditional love as unconditional promises… I could go on but I’m sure you get the picture! Just recently I was talking to a friend who has chosen a lifestyle that is clearly identified as sinful, i.e. destructive! His logic is that since God loves me, He wants me to be happy. Since this makes me happy God would never tell me I can’t have this! That’s like a child saying, “I love the tas...
