A Dream Interpretation February 22 2017

Dream was submitted for interpretation and is everything written that is not indented.

DREAM:
So, we are in a kind of seedy part of town, don't know what town. 
We are on one side of a busy street. looking over to the OTHER SIDE. we saw a short row of neat little shops...A Coffee shop, as little pizza Parlor, the kind of little places we like to frequent...

Interpretation:
The world is full of wickedness and deceit.



A voice from behind us said matter of factly that what we were seeing wasn't really there... *Note: further clarification is the direction of the voice: "On the right behind us.."

Interpretation:
The voice behind is the voice of the God/Holy Spirit telling him that the things that he is seeing in this world are temporary, but the things which cannot be seen are eternal. The things that are in this world that give pleasure are temporary.

2 Corinthians 4:18(KJV)
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.


we then did a little walk around to the street corner to CROSS OVER.

Interpretation:
He is a short walk from crossing over.

Psalms 90:10 KJV
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Isaiah 40:7-8 KJV
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.


The row of shops were just not where we had seen them, in stead was a big old warehouse building..

Interpretation:
Confirmation of what the voice was saying was speaking the truth to him. These 

we walked ACROSS and down the street past the warehouse to the opposite corner where there was a vacant lot with an old watermelon stand, unattended

Interpretation:
The watermelon represents the fruits of the works of life waiting to be inspected.

With a well picked over stock of melons..
left behind for anyone who wants one..
Ellen went toward the free fruit. 

Interpretation:
I still don't have anything on this yet.




I noticed that one huge rotted out melon sat prominently  with the HEART exposed.. NOTE: clarification on color: 
the most vivid color was the heart of the melon which was blood red.


Interpretation:  

God judges the heart and all man's hearts are exposed to him and ready to be judged at the end of life. The rotten interior of the watermelon prominently on display represents the works of the friend (Tommy Allen).  His works were rotten, but these works were covered by the shed blood of Jesus represented in the fact that the most vivid color of all in the dream was that blood red heart of the melon in the dream.  All Tommy's sins were forgiven. The color crimson or blood red is associated with the shed blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sins, (for the blood is the life). 



Hebrews 7:24-25 KJV
24 But this man (JESUS), because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 


Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.


My late friend tommy Allen was sitting at a picnic table eating a small melon..The first time I had ever seen him eat "healthy"...In life tommy had been a smoker, drinker and most irresponsible w/his finances...and was always in poor health and dressed poorly. He died of colon cancer..

Interpretation:
Although Tommy lived an unfruitful life, he is now completely different.

In my dream he was dressed nattily with well coifed hair and a beautiful smile..I had never seen him looking so good..About 35 years old, his broad smile exposed very nice teeth...unlike his teeth in life..

NOTE: further clarification on colors of the clothing and appearance: Tommy's natty suit was warm fall colors, really nice, some orange and brown. AND Tommy's hair was brown and looked as if he had just had it blow dried and styled. Also, a really nice wool tie, loose fitting, very comfortable and soothing to see.


Interpretation:
Many Christians have died and come back to report they saw other believers looking as Tommy is described here.  Perfect hair, loving smile, perfect looking teeth etc.   His brown hair and brown warm colored clothing symbolizes that the friend is at peace and comes in compassion (brown suit). The orange color represents prosperity and the fire of God on him.
The wool material (tie) indicates purity and again the friend has been made clean and pure by the shed blood of Jesus. The loose fitting tie also indicates that Tommy Allen is at peace.

He Rose and approached me with out reaching hand. He spoke to both of us and was most happy to see us as we were him...

Interpretation:
Jesus rose from the dead and now Jesus is using Tommy Allen to  reach out to recipient of dream.  The fact that they both have the same name may have significance here as well.  What works for Tommy will also work for Tom.

Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 KJV
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

THE END

SUMMARY: This was a dream for the person that had the dream telling them that what they think is important in this world is not. The after life is also not what they think it is.  In this dream the Holy Spirit speaks directly to the dreamer behind and on the right side.  I believe this is a dream from God.  It also uses a rotten watermelon heart the color being blood red and described as an exposed heart.  The dream recipient is being shown that all their sins can be forgiven by the shed blood of Christ and it is only God who judges the heart of which his will be judged soon.  The prominently displayed watermelon with the rotten inside is that of the friend Tommy Allen and it is know that he lived a very unfruitful life, but his rotten sin was covered by the shed blood of Jesus before he died.  Now this Tommy Allen person is being used by God and he is reaching out with love and compassion to dream recipient to make  him aware of this salvation is also available to him before his life is over.

The Ways of Man That Seem Right: Twisting Scripture to Fit Man's Doctrine

1 John 1:9 KJV  I see deception in the translation of 1 John 1:9 verse similarly to that of Hebrews 10:25 KJV. The meaning that people come up with is often viewed as godly and seems right.  But  assigning a godly meaning to a bible verse doesn't make that explanation true.  Example:  (Hebrews 10:25 our need to "go to church" and 1 John 1:9 some flavor of asking God for forgiveness and some would say our not needing to ask God for foregiveness) So these explanations become part of a doctrine which props up man's needs for the church building and that building's organization. Example:  (Hebrews 10:25 used to guilt people into coming to that specific church building every Sunday AND 1 John 1:9 telling people either they never need to confess sin OR that they have to specifically track each sin and confess each one).
