A Dream Interpretation February 22 2017

Dream was submitted for interpretation and is everything written that is not indented. DREAM: So, we are in a kind of seedy part of town, don't know what town.  We are on one side of a busy street. looking over to the OTHER SIDE. we saw a short row of neat little shops...A Coffee shop, as little pizza Parlor, the kind of little places we like to frequent... Interpretation: The world is full of wickedness and deceit. A voice from behind us said matter of factly that what we were seeing wasn't really there... *Note: further clarification is the direction of the voice: " On the right behind us. ." Interpretation: The voice behind is the voice of the God/Holy Spirit telling him that the things that he is seeing in this world are temporary, but the things which cannot be seen are eternal. The things that are in this world that give pleasure are temporary. 2 Corinthians 4:18(KJV) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at th

Wisdom, Correction, Obedience, Growing in Jesus Christ

Proverbs 3:11 KJV My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: Proverbs 15:9-11 KJV The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die. Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men? Proverbs 23:12-13 KJV Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge. Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Proverbs 11:24-25 KJV There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. Proverbs 21:13 KJV Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. Psalms 37

Will He Find Faith On The Earth? A bible study by Jack Kelley

I’ve studied what the Bible says about healing for years and years, and two things remain clear to me.   One is that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever ( Hebrews 13:8 ).    Another is He said anyone with faith in Him would do the things He did ( John 14:12 ).   But the results we’re experiencing in much of the Western Church today are far different from those attributed to Him in the Bible.  A logical mind can only conclude that something has changed.  Since it can’t be Him, that leaves only us. I’ve concluded that many of us have formed our opinions about healing either from hearsay or personal observation rather than God’s word, while the Bible tells us to live by faith and not by sight ( 2 Corinthians 5:7 ).  To prove my point, count the number of times when you’ve personally witnessed someone being healed. Not heard about, but personally witnessed. If you’re like most people you won’t know of very many, maybe not any. Maybe we don’t see people be

All Members of the Body of Christ Are Important

1 Corinthians 12:22-25 KJV Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

Does God Remove Our Ability to Choose Him After We Are Born Again?

If your answer is yes, then how would you answer this question: If you believe we no longer have free will after we are saved, then why do we still sin? If you believe that we no longer have the choice to be saved or not after we are saved, then why does God still allow us to sin? This idea that God would save us and call us saints even though we still sin is understandable because we are considered righteous in Jesus after we are born again.  But does that remove our ability to tell God we don't want the salvation He has provided? If God does maintain our free choice to sin or not sin, then why does He also not maintain our free choice to have salvation or not have it? Perhaps God does allow us to have the free choice to reject His salvation that Jesus paid for on the cross after we are born again, but no true believer would ever reject His gift of salvation.  But the only being that really knows this is God.  Man made doctrines based on what we think God would do based

Put Your Hope in the Lord, Not Man

Are you trusting in Jesus today or in a man and his doctrine? Psalms 146:3-5 KJV Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: Isaiah 40:31 KJV But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

All Men Will Know That You Are A Disciple of Jesus IF You Have Love Towards One Another

John 13:34-35 KJV A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Have you ever noticed how sometimes Christians are the most cruel towards each other?  It also happens in families, but when Jesus says that others will know that you follow Him because of the love you have towards one another then how does it make you feel when you see a brother or sister in Jesus Christ acting cruel towards one another?  It grieves the Holy Spirit and it grieves the believer as well. Fortunately for us, the Lord chastens those that are His.  Reconciliation is possible, but sometimes it isn't convenient.  It may take some humbling yourself before the Lord but seeing that the alternative leads to destruction, the practice of repenting from those type of acts and reconciling yourself with another brother is desirable. Faith. Who needs it?

Is faith something we can ignore concerning salvation? Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Notice that we are saved by grace through faith.  This salvation we have is not something we can earn but rather it is a free gift from God.  But what happens if you remove the variable called faith out of the equation.  You cannot have the saved part.   So to say you can be saved once and then even if you don't believe later then you are still saved is a argument wrought with double minded confusion.  You can't be saved without faith.  It also seems that you cannot necessarily misplace your salvation.  This old argument smells of the same stench that arguments I've had with Calvinists concerning the literal fulfillment of prophecy.  Endless disputings over what is what.  Wow, what a freaking waste of time and a distraction from what Jesus did promis
