Baptist Doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved Commentary Jim Richards

Why is it so common for baptists to want to pick a fight with everyone in hopes to defend their belief in once saved always saved? It seems ironic to me that a fellow believer would need to have a doctrine to help them believe they are saved when there is scripture that says that the Spirit of God confirms with us that we belong to God. A lack of confidence indicates a lack of faith and salvation is obtained by grace through faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Without faith you cannot participate in the promises of God for anything.

Believers Have the Holy Spirit and Have Been Given Power to Use the Authority Jesus Has Obtained

Jesus sits far above all principality and power and might and dominion and over every name that is named.
