Believing In Jesus Can Be Lonely In This World

Great eagles fly alone; great lions hunt alone; great souls walk alone-alone with God. Such loneliness is hard to endure, and impossible to enjoy unless God accompanied. Prophets are lone men; they walk alone, pray alone and God makes them alone.

Leonard Ravenhill

John 16:33 KJV
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Why Jesus Came from the mouth of Jesus:
John 17:2-3 KJV
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

So the question is: Do you know the only true God and Jesus Christ?  Because IF you don't then you do not have eternal life.

Believers know God in many ways, but the primary way is that believers receive the free gift of the Holy Spirit and are born of Spirit(born again).  But we also must enter into a relationship to know God.  That is a somewhat subjective thing because we cannot say, "pray for 30 minutes a day and then read bible for 30 minutes then you know God."  But we have access to God through Jesus as born again believers.  Those that diligently seek God will be rewarded.  God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

John 12:23-26 KJV
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Are you following Jesus?  Do the men that teach you follow Jesus?

Jesus says above IF any man serve me, let him follow me and where I am there shall also my servant be. IF any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

So if you serve Jesus you must also follow Jesus and if you serve/follow Jesus the Father will honor.

If any man says this does not apply to believers in Jesus today then they are blind and believing a lie.  No where in scripture does it ever say that the things Jesus commands/instructs is only for Jews.  The scripture is plain, but the doctrines of man and the devil twist scriptures to shipwreck faith.

Wisdom, Correction, Obedience, Growing in Jesus Christ

Proverbs 3:11 KJV My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: Proverbs 15:9-11 KJV The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die. Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men? Proverbs 23:12-13 KJV Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge. Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Proverbs 11:24-25 KJV There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. Proverbs 21:13 KJV Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. Psalms 37...

Marriage: A Biblical Perspective

When we think of our lives we often don't see things from the perspective of the truth we find in the bible. When we do that our definitions can be wrong and our actions based upon our realities can dictate our action, inaction and reactions. If you believe God's word to be true then you should agree with following statements. If you do not agree then you will have a different perspective of how you should live life as a human and as a spouse. Many people that name the name of Jesus Christ as Lord do not understand some simple facts and if any of these points you are confused then go to the Word of God and dig deeper.  Ask God for wisdom from Him knowing that you know He knows all and you do not. 1. God created us in His image and likeness.  That is pretty awesome. Genesis 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 2. God gave a commandment to Adam before Adam had Eve as his wife: Genesis 2:...

Does a Christian Need to Daily Ask God for Forgiveness?

In my estimation it seems that most Christians believe that all our sins are forgiven by the blood of Jesus. There is also a contrary teaching prevalent within most denominations that we must daily go to God to ask for forgiveness of our sins in order to be forgiven and be "right with God" by using one scripture (1 John 1:9). Do you see a conflict with these two beliefs? If you believe that you are not right with God unless you are confessed up then you must also make certain that you do not forget to ask forgiveness of every sin you commit.  So then comes the question you must ask is: What is sin?   Anything not of faith is sin. Romans 14:23 KJV And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. So then the good news is no longer so good because  you need to work very hard to keep up with all your sins in order that you can confess them and ask for forgiveness (even though you also believe that you...
